Summary

My father was a telephone technician and spent 9 years in China after the war as a telephone technology instructor, so I was born in China. After returning to Japan, I entered the entertainment industry when I was in the first grade of elementary school, due to my sister secretly applying to a children's theater group on my behalf. From the age of 6, I have been active on radio and television as a child actor, and I have a wide range of experience as an actress, singer, and voice actress.

When I entered high school, I seriously considered my future for the first time and decided to make acting my lifelong career. However, I was drawn to the appeal of being a voice actor who could play characters from the age of 5 to 15 in the anime "Ikkyu-san", and my work as a voice actor increased after 1980, including my first experience of appearing in two anime series a week with "Ganbare Genki". By 1982, around the time "Ikkyu-san" ended, I began to play more adult female roles. Despite initially thinking "This job might not be suitable for me...", I gradually began to find it interesting.

My first voice acting job was as Captain Bill (English version) when I was in the fourth grade of elementary school. My anime debut was around junior high school age, playing the role of Jerry in "Tom and Jerry" (TBS version).
